Hey you,
It’s been a little while, again. I’m sorry I’ve not written sooner, I’ve had a complicated relationship with food recently. I had an allergic reaction in November (that hasn’t really ended - docs and hosps, oh joy) that I thought had a food trigger (turns out, I think I’ve been poisoning myself with my laundry detergent - well done Charlie). I’m healing slowly, which coincides with the lighter evenings and life is just feeling better.
Coco is a happy little bunny, happy and healthy and full of love. She had a great time with our friends this weekend and explored a stone beach (at Deal) for the first time. We’ve cooked, hosted, been treated, bought a deep fat fryer (rogue) and visited my parents. Holidays are almost in touching distance, adventures await and I can’t wait.
I promise to be back more often, with reviews of bao buns, dishoom breakfasts, cocktails with friends and loved ones, and how three of us drank our way through the Renegade menu in Bethnal Green.
In the meantime, tips for Stockholm, Siem Reap and Hanoi most welcome, I’m off to book our next trip...
